Sorry if this is in the wrong place, but I couldn't find an appropriate place to post this. I have a 40 gallon breeder FOWLR and I was wondering what I could house. I was thinking 1 horned blenny, 2 Ocellaris clowns, 1 Wheelers shrimp goby and 1 pistol shrimp along with a small cleaner crew. Would this work in my tank? Thanks in advance, and I apologize if I posted in the wrong area.

That sounds like a good mix that should not cause any problems. I think it will not be close to overstocking.

Might want to think about adding an active water column swimming fish like a chromis as well.

Sounds like a pretty good matchup. A chromis might be a good idea. My clown is pretty active but he tends to hang out near stuff instead of swimming in "open" water.

Yeah I really learned that lesson with I added a wrasse to my 75. While 40 is imo small for a wrasse, it was after adding it that the other fish really starting coming and staying out and about. A good active swimmer can add alot to a tank as it gets others more active.

Midas blenny would be a good mover and shaker in this grouping you have picked. Midas swim around a ton more then most other blennies and are really bright yellow and cute too. Best wishes on your new tank!

Would I have a problem getting 3 Chromis that can get up to 5 inches each? That seems a little big, if not I can always go for the blue green chromis.
