Would you spend $1000 on this?

I saw a small Hawaiian black tang for sale at a pet store today for $999. It was about $899 if you belonged to the fish club. The glass was marked "Very Rare" as if to justify the price.

Maybe it's just me but I think the Yellow tang looks a lot nicer even without taking the $960 price difference. If I wanted an all black fish I'd go by a black molly for $3.

Was it a black trigger or black tang? That pic looks an awful lot like a tang :)

nope, there a few other things on my list before something like that, but I guess if your a rare fish collector... kinda like spend hundreds on coins or something, but this one can die and be worthless.

thats a black tang for sure, and I wouldn't pay that much for it, but that is my "dream" fish for sure!
