personally i wouldnt spend $100 on a fish let alone $1000! Too many things can happen to a fish and a tank to invest that much on a fish. You could start a whole new tank or make your current set up super killer for that much cash. Just MHO. Good Luck!

i'm guessing they were at Golf and Roselle. i like a couple of the guys in there so i don't want to be too hard on them, but i would NOT buy expensive livestock there. their tanks are pretty rough... i don't think i'd put their fish in my tank without a real good QT period.

My LFS had black tangs for $700ea a few months ago. I really ike the look but I didn't touch them at that price.

They got in some rare and cool lokking fish tonight... Borbonias Anthias. I'm not sure the price but I'm going to check them out.

Yup that's the place. I agree. The SW tanks there seem to have lots of cyano. Nice selection of FW fish there. I've bought a lot of Aftrican chichlids there and have had no issues.

I love black tangs! To me they are one of my favorite fish. But, I would buy a purple tang before just because of the price difference.
