would you use a screwdriver for this?

    i opt for a quality stainless drill bit or screw driver.... if not avaiilable id file/grind down the frag plug. i can usually twist and push my plugs and use the plug to grind the hole out to fit....takes aafew minutes but works

    I use an old serated edge steak knife for this kinda work.

    I use a clean butter knife to pry plugs off rocks. Shove under plug and twist sideways has worked everytime for me. Worth a shot.

    I ended up using a 13" concrete bit from Home Depot. This worked beautifully. Was able to reach all spots I wanted and keep drill out of the water. I did wash the bit with soap and water first.

    Only thing I'd mention to anyone that wants to try it is to make sure the bit is spinning before you stick it in the hole to be widened.

    good idea.. I was just going to say clip the frag at the bottom and just glue it to the rock. They grow back and it looks more natural.
