    you have to be pretty damn lucky to major in marine bio, to get a job (at least in todays economy), and to have permission to spend all the money you can to make a 20,000 coral reef tank thrive. What a job. Jealous. Jealous. Jealous.

    PS: mommy, this is what i want to do straight out of college, pleaaaaseeeee???? ;D In all seriousness, I want to major in marine biology in college and be a biologist but writing books and stuff isnt my thing. I LOVE the field jobs like diving and stuff and collecting data, that stuff no professor. And in todays economy if you want to make anything of yourself being a marine biologist, your going to have to work you a$$ off just to get a grant big enough to do an experiment, conduct it, write a book here and there, and be a professor. In reality, you can never get a job like this lucky man did anymore. Im sure it was a hell of a lot easier to back then when he graduated, though. :(
