    Picked up this wrasse a lil while ago. The guy told me it was a ribbed wrasse, but i dunno.To me it looks like a kind of fairy wrasse, wondering if anyone else recognizes it.

    Maybe a dot and dash flasher wrasse. I know it is a flasher of some sort.

    Agh, I've seen those so many times (at least ones that look like the 3rd pic) on DD and I can't remember the name!!

    Go on RC, they know fish that most others will never know of...
    I've seen this fish but it doesn't look like a longfin fairy wrasse, or a flasher

    The dorsal fin makes me think of a flasher and it has the same body style as most flashers as well. It has less coloring then most males, so I'm thinking it's a female. I could always be wrong as well.

    Thanks, the third pic is closest to showing its colors. I got it for 20 bucks and when I saw her in the store she was a dull pink. The colors have really come out since then.

    Cirrhilabrus tonozukai (male) is correct; not at all a flasher wrasse.
