    I know, was soo bummed. He was eating like a hog, swam fine was active. I dont think it was its health. I guess no more wrasses for me. My current one is to dominate to add any more.

    Just curious, did you keep him in an acclimation box inside the tank for a day or two to give the existing wrasse time to get used to the new one? This seems to be the recommended method of adding a new wrasse when there are others already in the tank.

    Damn, no I fed the tank to keep everyone occupied. Then had lights out. The wrasse was flashing, bright colors, all fins raised, and darted through the tank like I never saw. I should have did the box, so mad at myself now.

    A very costly learning lesson. I will be sure to do this with all fish going forward. How long do you usually keep them in the box? Until the established one stops "flashing".
