    Yeah this is a good idea! I'd say for now that my Tang is pretty dang happy. But I also know, that tomorrow, I could have that thread that we all know the end too, the one that starts "Help, my yellow tang is......"

    You would be better off with a kole tang or a tomani tang honestly. The zebrasoma tangs can be mean (my black tang is SUPER docile) so I would worry about the firefish, manadrin, and anthias anyway. Bristletooth tangs are far more mellow by reputation.

    We kept a Red Sea Purple tang for quite a few years in a 55g until power outage killed him.

    I would wait for DD to get one that red looking honestly. I want one bad. My LFS got one in sort of red but it wasnt vibrant like that.

    is the DD more money than normal and I have never ordered any fish online but I might have to if it is what I want.
