You still have to acclimate the fish to your tank water,in short, the box helps protect them, lets them adjust to thier new suroundings, helps them from freaking out and lets the other fish get adjusted to seeing it before just letting loose in the tank.Gives the fish a little "chill" time.

Me either. he leopard would out compete him fast. Leopard wrasse are just as hard as Manadrin... if not more so... to take care of.

Now that part I totally agree with ;D,i'm one who mentioned how mine decimated my population in a very short order after getting her though,so yea,I wouldn't try those two in a 75 unless you got a giant healthy fuge.

never used an acclimation box so there is somthing to look into. I just black out for a day of two and everyone seems to get along.

in my 20 I just added the least agressive first and went to the more agressive.

You can build one pretty easy with a drill, some cheap acrylic from a box store, and a few zip ties.

I want to know what type of wrasse that will have the best compatibility with the long fin fairy wrasse. or should I just stay with one and call it done?

I literally have read that thread a million and one times ;D

the only specific info id more on how to introduce a new wrasse into a system and basic info on how to pick a possible canidate. Which is really great It is more info than I have found anywhere else on the net. and am super glad it is there ;D

I have been told and read though that the longfin wrasses are a bit meaner so I did want some on hand xp. with mixing other wrasse with this perticular wrasse so there is no stupidity on my part :p

McCosker's Flasher Wrasse caught my eye but never having a wrasse before this one I am interested in the personality of them now. lol
