I'm going to have to make some sort of lid. Oh great, my building skills shall be tested again! Jumping is another reason I'm a bit hesitant about a wrasse...

the mystery wrasse looks like it's got a bit of crazy eye going on....http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=15+1378+355&pcatid=355 beautiful colors though!

Yep, they always look a bit shocked and demented when you watch them. Very cool fish though. My LFS actually stock them for around $150.

For the wrasse to really show off it's brilliant coloring does it need to be housed with a female, or what? I thought I read that somewhere...

The tank will be. Hah! 8)

Not a bad price. I just really don't want to deal with mesh screens and the sort.

Yeah, that's making me kind of hesitant. I really like the open look...but I guess any fish could possibly jump...I might be constantly worried if I don't have some sort of top on my tank...

I have yellow coris wrasse and I love him. Was at petco one day and they had one for 7 dollars so I couldn't pass on it. Cool looking fish for only 7 bucks and they aren't aggressive.

I've only seen it go into the sand twice. It makes a little plume and that's it. It doesn't go in and out or sift through the sand.
