Eshoops I hear good things about.

I have heard horrible things about the Cadlight, but I hear the nano skimmer is decent.

If the Reef Octopus fits that would be my first choice.

The patch turned out nice, now I am designing a plywood stand. Today I went to Home Depot to see what they have in stock. I now have better idea of the options for materials.

Heater arrived, Hydor Slim Skim Nano and a Sicce (357gph) pump are in the mail.

I hope to have get the sand built, filled, primed and painted by Thursday.

Only 4 trips in 2 days to Home Depot and I now have a stand!! Some gaps have been filled with epoxy and the screw holes filled with filler. Tomorrow it gets sanded again, primed with Kilz, and maybe the first coat of a dark slate grey.

At most the total weight will max out around 375lbs,divided by cross sectional area comes to about 7.4 psi, which ain't nothing for ¾ poplar plywood.
