It is a dry heat, yeah right !
Stand looks clean and organized, like an engineer did it. :p Hope that is look you're were going for. ;)

Good information on the Tunze ATO.

So do you like this tank significantly more? Did you take the 8 gallon down?

    Thanks C,

I gave the 8 to a friend. It was just too small for my ambitions. The 16 is also much easier for me to get my arms into for maintenance.

This morning I figured out the Feed cycle on the Apex.

What a handy feature to shut off power for 5 minutes with one mouse click. I have it set to turn off the two hydor powerbeads, return pump and skimmer, with the skimmer coming back online a minute after the return pump to prevent it overfilling.

I'm so stoked about this, until now I've been unplugging gear individually.

Could you go into more detail on how you rigged that filter sock? Looks like you ditched the stock media basket totally on that overflow chamber. What size/kind of filter sock is that? That is a genius idea.

    Super simple.
I used the 4x8 of these, folded it over, and jammed it in.

A little teaser before the site goes down tomorrow.

I was able get a BuildMyLed Multichannel 20k before they open the flood gates to everybody.

My camera can't handle the 405/420/450/470 channels, so here are all three channels.

I'll give a full report thread when 3reef relaunches.

These pics were taken at 60% power for the 405/420/450/470 nm channels and 30% white with an iPhone.

Temp went up to 86.1 on Friday. Now the Pearlberry frag is losing tissue at the polyps. Bummer....
