    Something else I should mention that has improved my corals, is the removal of ALL crabs.

    Now the only CUC are 2 Nassarius snails and pods. Without sharp little legs crawling around, my corals are much happier.

    Your cooling fan isn't connected to apex ?

    LOL. I love a melting pot. I love south Florida; but man, a bazillion Brazilians in one store will drive you crazy.

    No the fan cools the Apex and EB8, not my tank.

    Trust me I feel the same when I lived in south florida I worked at sawgrass mall I was nothing but Brazilians every day lol

    You need more plugs for another fan to cool the tank

    Last week I added a AQUATEK ChillMaster Aquarium Cooling Fan controlled by my Apex.

    After a few coding tweaks yesterday, I have the temp hovering between 80 and 81, which ain't bad for a 30 year old south florida house in August.

    This is the profile I woke up too this morning. I think I finally have the temp swings under control.
