    hey guys they have been like this for about a week
    Parameters
    Nitrites 0ppm
    Nitrates 0ppm
    Ammonia 1ppm
    Alk good and high
    Gh good and high
    lights are t5ho one white one blue salinity is at 1.024
    Heres the pictures, the xenia is just getting pushed around by the current thats all its not super hard current either I would say moderate

    I say one because the color is barely visible, Im not sure what the actual measurement is haha just very very suttle.

    What do you mean *good an high* with Kh/gh what is your ca?

    Well from what I'm reading on my test the kh is 240 and the gh is 180, I was told by several people on here it should be on the high end, I am using api test kits

    ca? calcium? its normal around 380, and sorry i made another mistake my kh is 240-280

    Your Kh is way to high! 214.8 (12) is on the higher end and 17.9 (1) being the lowest. Target reading should be between 7-12 or 125.3-214.8. With 7-9 being the best. Are you sure on your readings? API kH doesn't test (read) that high. Your calcium of 380 is ok. I'd test a batch of new made SW see what your ca/alk are then. Keep us posted :)

    well I'm sure yes, but I will test again... ok so my mistake my kh is just lighter then 240 and my gh is 180 still ph is 8.1 and everything else(ammonia nitrates etc) are 0 calcium is still 360-380 I must have made a mistake reading earlier, sorry guys

    Still not following you sorry. The API test for KH does not read that high. So I don't know where your getting 240 from??? Nor is it color coded.

    yes it actually does I have the test strip 5 in one. 240 being the highest reading on the kh 180 being highest on gh, it may be different for liquid tests
