Well, let me begin with a positive. My vacation was great! However, my "friend" didn't do the best job of taking care of my aquarium while I was gone and well, here's a picture of my xenia:

The problem seemed to stem from overfeeding and when I came home there was a pretty good spike of ammonia. Fish all seem content, but this guy, not so much. Originally it was approximately 3 times the size, white and loved to pulse.

Currently my tank is running at:
Ammonia - NOW at 0 (peaked at around 2.0)
Nitrates - 0 (may have risen at some point, ammonia scared me and I instantly went to work)
    Nitrites - 0
    Temp - 78 degrees
    Calcium - 425
    pH - 8.3
Lighting - MH 250 watt 15,000K (13-14 inches from coral)
    Flow - low-medium area

Thing is I've never seen dead xenia, and now I'm wondering if this my little buddies are gone...

Thanks for any help you can give.

I'm sure the AM did that too them. Give them some time, Xenia is pretty resilient. They thrive at times and they die randomly also in different systems. When mine died each head slowly dissolved one by one.

Since params are back to steady just keep an eye on them, you'll know if they're gonig to make it or not, best of luck!

Whew! That at least puts my mind somewhat at ease... Ha, just noticed I put friend in quotations, guess that was subliminal. Thanks for the quick answer, I'm hoping no one else thinks they're dead...
