Xenia Help with growth.

    i have had a pom pom xenia now for about 3 weeks and was wondering how it could get it to spread faster and stuff.


    PH 8.1
    Alk 3.5
    Calcium 450
    Salinity 1.023
    Temp. 78
    nitrate 10
    nitrite 0

    dual 65w actinic Power Compact. And a dual 65w daylight lighting.

    Xenia is places in the middle of the tank.
    i dose Seachem reef plus twice a week.
    any suggestions thanks.....;D

    time, give it time, oh and put it in high flow that will make it split and growth will be in the same direction as the flow

    xenia like iodine....I use Kent Iodide. Just be careful with the dosing.

    My xenia is in a low flow area, and is spreading like a weed. In about 1-½ weeks I’ve got 3 frags, and it re-grew the lost stalks, and more. All I dose is Kent essential elements, and calcium.

    If you want your xenia to take off, smack it with more lighting.

    put it higher up in the tank by your daylight pc bulbs.

    ok i just moved all the way up to the tank....and its in somewhat of high flow and i dose the reef plus which has some idodine in it and i dose iodine once a month also
