    do all Xenia pulse? i got a Xenia last friday and it dont pulse at all.when the light is on it opens up, when the light are off it closes right, so that make me think it not the light and it just not a pulsing xenia

    Some does and some doesn't. In your case, it may start or never pulse at all. Your particular piece may not pulse in your tank, but, pulse in someone elses. Mine is always open regardless of the light cycle.

    post a pic, also point some flow right over the top of them, that usually gets them to perk up

    Up to a point, I have the in medium flow and low flow areas, in high they tend to close up and not open back up..

    LOL, I just notices the "her".. more like "IT" than "HER"

    They like flow, but do not bombard or you won't even see them pulsing, if indeed they are....Posting a picture, as others have said here, is a good idea...

    lol i know it a "IT", i try to give everyone in the tank a sex type and name ;D::), it make the family happy
