I haven't been around for easily a year. I had to tear down my old tanks due to a personal issue and moving out of my old place. I finally have the time and resources to set up a new tank. I have been using a 14G biocube for the past year to hold what was left of my 75 tear down that I didn't sell of have die. Unfortunately, I lost almost everything that I didn't sell. O well, it sucks, but can't be discouraged by it.

This is a slow build. The stand alone took me about 6 weeks to build since I only have about 2 hours once a week to work on the stand. I dried out all of my rock from my 75, 50, frag tank, and some seleft pieces from people who were tearing their tank down. Then built one bonsai-ish style pillar. I also made a few mag-rocks with suregrip 100 magnets and some cool pieces of dry rock that had flat backs.

I still need to drill the tank for two returns on the bottom back of the tank and drain on the top middle. As well as vinyl the back in black. I am going for a minimalistic look with no powerheads in the tank at all.

This is what I have so far. Please excuse the poor photos. For some reason some came out with light issues.

I added a side door to make installing and removing the sump easier:

I am hoping to have water in it by April.

(P and X have history, the above is a joke, P isn't really mean)

Too bad about the last tank. It was a real looker.

It feels good to be back in the groove again, huh. That staggered rock is really sweet. Good luck with the process.

Man, really?!?!?! You again?!?!?! P really is very mean haha. Yea, I miss that tank, but I will take what I loved in the old, as well as what I wish I had been able to change, and put it all towards the new. How have you been?

It feels great to have a tank of my own. I have been setting new tanks up at work to fill the void.

Thank you guys/gals :) It is great to be back.

Man, I haven't updated this thing in too long. More and more set backs every week. I keep having to move and random bills popping up taking away from my tank funds. I need to just say screw it and fill it already. It is literally sitting in my living room almost fully set up just needing water and filtration....arg
