I like a clean glass tank. :) Nice stuff you have in there. How thick it your glass? It looks really thick compared to the goby, unless it's just a close-up.

    Thanks.

Yea, i hate it when I can't see in to my tank. Fortunately, algae doesn't gow to fast in my tank. The glass is 5/8" thick. The photo is some what of a close up. About a foot away. The clown goby is also only like 1/4" thick tops. This makes the glass look thicker.

    Thank you

I'm stilling fighting the boss on the xenia. I offered to set up a tank just for her dam xenia. She said no... I will eventually just bleach that rock. I don't want xenia every where.

The back gets cleaned once a month or so. I mainly get coralline growing on my overflow and sides. The back just never gets algae for some reason. The other three sides are cleaned once a week. photos were taken a few days after its last cleaning. As to why it is so clean. I have no clue. Algae grows in the overflow where the plumbing is like no tomorrow. I think of it as my other fuge.

Well, I have a problem with my stand. The stand itself is twisting and i think the only reason it hasn't collapsed yet is because of the wood braces i installed in the stand. I purchased a Red Oak Monterey stand and will be moving the 75 onto the new stand tonight. I hope this goes well.

    ummm....

The left door is actually bowing and doesn't close on the side of the hinges. The right door doesn't shut. The stand itself is visually deformed.

ooohhhhh....you said "stand". I said "sand". ::)lol. oops. I guess I should read more carefully.

Your stand is warped. That's certainly not a good thing...

Carbon fiber, dense particle board, and some extra 1x4s I used to brace it on one side. I should not have purchased it in the first place. O well. it will be taken care of tonight.

Carbon fiber...you race your stand? ;D Anyway, good material if it it is engineered towards holding weight. Very difficult to DIY though. I'd stick to 2x4 or 4x4s if it were me. Pre-built stands are tested obviously, but sometimes use less than stellar materials to sell cheaper. Good luck, and hope all goes well.
