I awoke this morning hating how most of my rock looks and how there was so much wasted space. With a little help from my supervisor I came up with the following. Not what I was planning on doing, but I think it will be just fine. I was able to get more space between the rocks, but I am not completely happy with the two larger rocks to the right of the overflow.

Ollie, the supervisor (He fell asleep half way through, but my hands where wet so no photos of him in a dead sleep on the table):

And you did in the rock redo? I'm not seeing the GSP now...

It does look nice. But to be honest I liked it better before. Had a rise and fall to it that was nice and natural. IMHO, this looks like a large rubble pile. :-/ Hope you don't mind me saying so.

I'm sure once you start messing with those 2 big rocks it'll all get redone again... I know how that goes! ;)

I took a hammer to the GSP and have a small piece in the sand now. The rest is in the fuge.

The more I look at it the more I don't like it. I think I will do some minor adjustments on Sat.

    EDIT:

I am attending a frag swap on Sunday. Due to this and peredhil hating my rock work, as did I, I decided to redo my rock about an hour ago. I just finished and am letting the water clear up.

Ollie was asleep before I even started so he didn't supervise. I hope he won't be mad at me lol.

I made a gradual slope from the overflow to the right and from the back to the front. I kept it open on the inside, but some what dense on the outside to make it look like one solid piece of rock.

My corals are really PO'ed right now. My skimmer has been emptied 3 times since last night due to all the gunk I stirred up. I take this as a good thing.

The photos don't do the rock work justice. My awful camera and photo taking abilities did not help me either. There is a slight curve to the base of the rock and a gentle slope from the left to the right. There is also a smooth slope from back to front. The only thing I don't like is how the zoa rocks look.

It better be perfect or else your going to hop on your bike and do it yourself. ;D

Some is touching the back. Nothing is actually putting weight on the back glass though. I also have a korallia nano on the bottom of the overflow blowing water through the rock at the bottom. I took all corals glued to rocks off so that I could work with everything. I don't plan on glueing my acans down every again. I lost a few heads because they were actually attached to the rock.I am very pleased with it. With the way the rock is, I can now put the mp40 on either side. There is also a lot more space for coral. The photos don't show the depth of the rock to well. Far away it looks like a 90* vertical drop, but, as you move closer to it, you can see the slopes coming out. I do not plan on messing with the rock again.
