It really pops out, but my camera is awful and won't pick up the true colors of the corals. Let alone focus properly.

Nice pics. How often do you feed your acans?

Depends. I normally feed them chopped squid at least once a week. Each head gets a piece. I have fed them as often as 3 times a week when I first got them. Once they started growing I slowed down the feedings. The smaller the frag the more often I feed it in the beginning as well. They grow quickly with once a week feedings.

    New goodies from ebay:

These are probably the best macros I have ever taken with my camera. Maybe I don't need a new one and just needed to change the way I positioned the camera.

    Awesome acan collection.

I noticed in the picture you have a yellow tang, anyother fish in this system or are you mainly going corals ?

    Thank you.

    Fish are:

1 yellow tang 4" (excuse for a bigger tank when it needs it)
1 blue hippo 2" (excuse for a bigger tank when it needs it)
    2 wild caught true percs
    1 purple firefish
    3 chromis
    1 royal gramma
    1 flame angel

I have one more fish on my list. Mystery Wrasse for pests.

Filtration is a 30G sump w/ an SWC160 Cone rated for a 150G tank, fuge space holds 10 gallons. I don't have any problems with ammo, nitrite, or nitrate, so I am pretty sure I can pull off one more fish filtration wise. The gramma stats in the zoa rocks on the left, the clowns stay under the return locline plumbing, the firefish stays by the acans, and the other fish swim around with no issues. I haven't seen any problems with territoriality, so I think the wrasse will be fine. Worst case scenario I move one or two fish to my frag tank.

I am mainly going for cool oddball corals right now that I don't see often at any of my LFSs.

This build is absolutely amazing. FANTASTIC job with coral selection and rock placement.
What is your bulb combination now?

Thank you. I wish I was pickier when I first started the build and my old tank. I sold a number of corals and clams that I thought were awesome as I learned more about different corals and saw more possibilities I changed my mind about them.
