looks great. Now I can't decide on if I want to paint the back of my tank black or blue. I was going to go with black, but after seeing how good your tank looks, I may go with blue. What color blue is that exactly and what did you use?

I actually used royal blue vinyl. It lasts longer than paint and does not rub off or flake. I went to a graphics store and asked for them to cut a piece 5 feet long instead of 4 feet so I had some room for error. I then sprayed the back of the tank and sticky side of the vinyl with soapy water and applied it to the back of the tank. I slid it into the right spot and used a credit card to rub the bubbles and soapy water from between the vinyl and glass. I then let it set for 24 hours and trimmed the edges. There are no bubbles or marks of any kind.

As for deciding on a color, the darker the color the more your brighter colors will pop out. I wish I went with black or a darker blue, but o well.

Thank you, it is where my OCD is used. :)

I just removed the stitches this morning. It was easy to do. Cut has healed nicely so far. I still think I should wear butterflies on it though.

Hopefully photos tonight as long as I don't get side tracked.
