I have started to plan my 20L sump build. What are your thoughts? Skimmer on left followed by a 8" tall baffle then a 9" baffle that starts 1" above the bottom, then followed by another 8" baffle. Each baffle in the bubble stop area will be 1" apart. The center is the return area. Next is a 9" baffle for the fuge. The return pump will pump water into a "T". The left will put water into the tank and the right will slowly pump water through a UV sterilizer and return the water into the fuge.

Thank you, for $10 a frag who could say no. I just wish our camera was better.

Just purchased the silicone and will be placing the order for my glass tomorrow morning. Hopefully the build will start tomorrow night.

Sump is complete and passed a water test today. The First chamber is there the skimmer goes. The middle will be the fuge and the right will be the return. However, I will be placing it under my stand in reverse so that I can see the water level easier. The sump holds about 15 gallons. This leaves about 3 or 4 gallons in overflow for if the power goes out.

    Thank you

If you click on the photos you will see that I was very messy when it came to the silicone. I figured it would be best to keep them off and hidden until me siliconing everything but the tank was complete.

That was my thinking as well. And its not like I have to see it either. I can't wait to get it under my tank.
