Very sorry to hear about your loss, but out of tragedy comes opportunity. It will be a great build Im sure.

Here is the stand Painted. I still need to trill the holes for the overflow bulkhead, but that will not occur until after the tank arrives on Tuesday. I also need to install the track lighting. That probably will not happen for a week or two since lights are not needed for the cycle, but LR and plumbing parts are.

I was debating painting the back and sides of the sump black as well, but ran out of paint so the decision was not to paint it.

Where did you paint it at? Your back deck thing?

Also, are you going to be running a skimmer with it?

On my balcony. I think I will run a NAC6 skimmer, but I am also contemplating just running two of the three chambers as a large fuge and no skimmer. I will proably try the fuge only first.

Bulkheads, strainer, and loc-line are at my local FedEx sort facility. Scheduled delivery is Monday, so I'm going to see if they will let me pick it up today. Gives me 3 extra days to get the plumbing done and water in the tank.

I will be using the Tunze Silence 1073.020 pump as the return and flow in the tank. I got an Eheim 1262 to replace the Runze on my 75.

Plumbing is done and I am filling the tank up with ro/di water right now for a wet test. I only had 5G of water left and I need a total of 30G. Tank and sump won't be filled until tomorrow night. :(

Thank you. I plan on getting the lighting done soon. Since I need to cycle the tank before I can put anything it it there is no rush for the LED lighting. I wish they were already hooked up though.

Water is now circulating through the system. I forgot to buy a gate valve so there is a bit of gurgling from the overflow right now. I'll fix that later. Waiting for the salt to completely mix and the water to clear up now. Rubble goes in the sump some time next week.
