    awesome...let me know, and keep the pics coming. P.S. How long do you think it will take these little boogers to cycle??? I am guessing about 3-4 weeks.

    I put some pellets in there tonite. I will probably add some Mysis tomorrow.

    Im not sure but Im thinking at least that long. I guess it depends on how big of a dead shrimp I put in there LOL. Im going to hook up the PH in a minute and Ill let you know how it does.

    Mysis shrimp are in the tank to start the cycle. I also hooked up the minijet 606 on the lowest setting and I can tell a difference in the flow. If your using a sand bed it will move it around pretty good. I may change it out to CC if it wont settle down. Ill keep you updated.

    Awesome...I definately want to keep it sand, so I will have to find the right PH for the job. Keep this updated!! Gotta go to bed...Holiday fun is over!!

    I just change my 2.5 gal to a bare bottom.. Mostly because my ac70 was too much flow.. Now without sand, I don't have to worry about it kicking up.... FYI, yours guys's tank is off to a great start....

    Thanks for the info on going bare bottom and the compliment. Robmans and mine both have the same born on date 8)
