I could post some pics of it cycling...LOL but I think it would be kinda boring. As soon as it cycles and I do something with it I will post some pics. I promise!

Well for being cheap and not wanting to spend the 6$ on a new pump I opted to use what I had. A mini jet 606. I done everything I could to stop the sand from blowing with no luck. I decided to use the CC out of my 72 bow that I took down last september. I cleaned it up really well and swaped it out. I wasnt extremely happy ( probably never will be LOL) with the rock placement. So I had some other pieces that I had bought and busted them up. Heres a new updated pic of how it looks. Knowing me I will change it again but ya never know. I actually like the CC in this tank better than I did in my 72. I guess we will see where this adventure takes us ;D Any suggestions are appreciated

I would put the pump on the side instead of the back wall. That way the flow has further to travel instead of being stopped a few inches away, it might solve your sand blowing problem. I am not a huge fan of CC, but it looks like your tank has plenty of potential. What are your plans for it?

Thanks for the info I will look into it. As for the tank it will basically just be a small softie tank. Just some shrooms, zoes, maybe a very small hammer or torch a few snails & crabs, maybe a shrimp.

LOL....Yea I did :) She wanted Dory,Nemo then patrick and Mr crabs for it and trying to talk her out of it was almost impossible. She finally settled for the little blue damsel for the tank. The funny thing about the trip was this guy was feeding a huge trigger fish some little bait fish. My son was like dad thats cool. My little girl cried. I had to take 10 mins in the store to calm her down and explain to her that it was no different than when she eats the fish when we go fishing. She told me they wasnt alive when we ate them and that was mean. That was a rough trip to the LFS.
