Thanks. It seems to be pretty cool so far. I am looking at getting another Power Bar module so I can put an auto topoff on it. I have an idea of using an aqua lifter to make an auto top off. The aqualifter pumps 3.5 gal of water an Hr (estimated...havent confirmed yet.). I am thinking of setting one up to run 8 min 30 sec 2 times a day or 4 min 15 sec 4 times a day to top off the gallon of water I evaporate. I am sure I will have to do some better calculations and take measurements to verify but I think it will work. if not I will just put a float switch on it and be done :)

    ATO set up.

Well in the theme of being lazy...LOL. I set up an auto topoff for the tank. I used it in the past but only while I was on vacation due to not liking a bucket sitting in my living room. I had to do some DIY on the float switch holder due to having used the previous brackets on a different set up and them not working on this one. I actually used this bracket to hook the pump discharge line to also. Well here are some pics.

I was able to mod one of the original float switch brackets to hold the hard tubing in place in the bucket because it kept wanting to coil up and float.

I didnt even think about using a magnet to hold it....Good Idea. I will definatly keep this diy in mind. I bet it was a little easier to set the float to the right depth going this route...LOL. I really wanted to get some plexi and bend it and make it look more professional but I would have had to spend $ on that and I had the egg crate laying around so I decided to go that route. As much money as I have spent on it lately I have to be a little tight on somethings :).

six line lost its eye :(

Well, I thought something had happened to my sixline. I havent seen it in about a 1 1/2 weeks. I figured it was dead in the rocks. I looked up a few minutes ago and seen it out swimming. It is missing an eye. It actually looks like it is healing up. other than that it looks healthy and I saw it picking something off the rocks also. I hope it will be alright.

Sorry this is the best picture I could get.

Wow no wonder you didn't see it for a week. Congrats on having a survivor.
