I have paired Randalli and pistol shrimp, you have to buy them both at the same time(Dont have too, but it def helps the pairing) Or buy them paired up already. It doesnt involve any work really, just throw em in the tank and let em find eachother.

i have paired tiger pistol shrimp and YWG's with either different combination.
I have added the shrimp after the goby, as well as visa versa. Some gobies/shrimp will pair up immediately, some not at all. It is most likely to happen with the Randali's and Tiger pistols. My Japanese Snapping Shrimp (a red shrimp of the Alpheid family) hasnt paired up with either of my gobies and i have had it for a few months.
My YWG paired up with my tiger pistol in a couple of days.

    I hope this is helpful
