    You could do some angelfish. Any of the dwarfs seem like good candidates.

    Butterflyfish seem like good choices too, if you put them in before the tang so they don't get bullied.

    Hogfish and hawkfish might be others to look into. You'd want to be careful about which species to get though, there's a wide range of aggression levels in these families.

    Smaller triggers could be a choice too.

    Anthias are very active, most need ALOT of swimming space, and need to be fed multiple times a day, and do better in groups of 3-5 or more.

    what kind of trigger is small enough? im gonna look into some other butterflys.

    im gonna do a mandarin also.
    so now were at 15 inches. 10 more to go.

    LiveAquaria lists the Undulate trigger as needing a 50+ gallon, and a few others as 70+ gallon. I would do some research to make sure that's right, but if it is, you've got a few options.

    Oh, well, if you're doing a mandarin, I'd imagine a trigger isn't a good choice for a tankmate lol.

    Filefish are another group to look into.
