I'm off tomorrow on a bit of a tour of the aquatics shops in my area (Cornwall, UK)! I was supposed to be getting a copperband butterfly today that my LFS has been quarantining but unfortunately the one I'd reserved died a few days ago and another that they had in stock had white spots on it's fins. Put it into perspective that they really aren't an easy fish to care for, so I've decided that I'm going to give it a miss rather than take the risk!

Decided I'm gonna look to get a Kole tang, they seem like a really attractive addition to my tank. Anything in particular I should be looking out for as far as they go (other than the norm), or do they live up to their relatively hardy reputation? Also - how well do they get on with other tangs (e.g a yellow tang)? I've heard they're about as peaceful as tangs get.

Thanks for your help, and I'll let you know if I have any luck!

The one i bought for my 150 cube is a model citizen! I had a 3" yellow Tang which tried to bully him around, but the fish swam the other way. Than I added a Red Sea Sail Fin and they all get long. The Kole Tang is the most active fish always pick at the rocks and glass. When I slack off on the glass cleaning he leaves lip prints. Pretty cool fish.

Now, they are cool pictures! Thanks for the advice ardo_ski!

I have a lawnmower blenny that likes to leave lip prints on the glass, it's funny, looks like he's been kissing it.
