I got rid of all of mine. Just snails and a diamond goby to keep the sand clean.

I usually dont have an issue they seem to stay away from all my hammers and frogspawns, sometimes I have seen them try to reach out from rock to grab food off the coral but never success. They seem to crawl around the softies a lot though but not enough to do any damage or even make them close up theyre so used to it by now.
WHy did you get rid of all your hermits? They eat all the leftover food for me its great

My one hermit took out all my snails, then the rest of the hermits. He has since been re-homed and now I have just one hermit for my CUC.

Pictures as promised. First picture is where I placed it for acclimation. It is a little blown out due to being right under the light and my camera. After the polyps being out the past 5 days I decided to finally place it this morning and removed some of the frag plug to do so. I was very careful to not tear any flesh but still handled it enough to tick it off, after a couple hours there are a few braves polyps coming out though.
