Unresolved Yellow spots on my Umbrella leather

Hey all,
I seem to all of a sudden have about 6 round yellow marks on my umbrella leather. I dont have a camera right now but in a few days ill get mine back.Never the less I took my turkey baster and picked at one of them and a piece fell off kinda like a scab. I think this may be a problem and looking for a fix. Thanks!

an image will help but all leather corals including toadstools shed their outer layer of skin periodically, its how they grow

a few things influence the amount of time this takes, flow IME being the most important factor , in areas of mid to high flow, majority of leathers I have had, tend to close tight for a day or 2 and then the skin seems to come away in large thin film like sheets

if the coral is in a low flow area, then this shedding can take longer and the skin comes away in stages rather than all in 1 go

if you get an image up, and a FTS shot - then that would help us ID if this coral had a particular problem and also would help us get an overview of its location in tank with regard to how much water movement its getting

I use Iphoto to upload them from my iphone Im sure you could do it through itunes some how. Or you could if you have facebook post them to your facebook wall via the facebook app then save them to your computer.

I have seen similar conditions to that on leather corals I have had
judging by the image, that coral is not recieving adequate flow
I say that because its close to the sand bed and in most peoples tanks, that area has a very low flow , in order the sand bed does not get blown about

the coral seems to have a few small areas where it is rotting/ dissolving
and I have seen that in leathers in areas of low flow, because waste,detrius etc has been allowed to settle on those areas (snail poop etc drifting down of the rockwork)

the good news is that I have also seen corals in worse condition than that make a full recovery
move to an area of higher flow and with a few skin sloughs the areas affected get smaller and smaller and eventually dissapear
