    He is one of my first marine fishes...Not sure if i should be giving him back to the LFS? :confused:

    Do they pick on Shrimps??Wanted to add some Fire shrimp to the tank

    Hi....I am assuming you were trying to post a picture, but it did not work. What size tank do you have? Damsels are bullies and most people consider them evil fish. You can do a search for them on these forums and read. From what I have read...he may pick a fight, he may not.

    its hit or miss with them. naturally they're an aggressor. ive had a few, some for cycling, etc. i have one right now in my 75gal display with a fire shrimp. the two leave one another alone.

    this particular yellow tail damsel is not very mean at all. the other two i have taken back to the LFS were not so nice. they actually killed my coral beauty a few months back. kept nipping at it till they finally stressed it enough for it to get a disease and die.
