The past couple days my yellow tang has been acting strange. He is sweeping his tail in the sand and kinda twitching. I took a video of it. Let me know what ya think?? He is eating fine and seems healthy.

is it only that same spot of the tank? He does look like he's trying to shake something free! I'd add some garlic and make sure he's eating some seaweed! looks healthy otherwise though!

It is a dry heat, yeah right !
I have to wonder if he is just reacting to his reflection.

Nope no parasite, and he eats seaweed every single day. he could be reacting to his reflection, never thought of that. He keeps doing it in the same spot. Almost points his nose upward and waves his tail, and sometimes he goes over that area really slow and twitches. Strangest thing

My tangs did the same thing for a while, it was his reflection.

Looks like he's just fighting his reflection. Pretty common in tangs IME. Don't see anything I would consider abnormal. They can be a bit "tweaky" by nature....

My YT often argues with his reflection in the glass.

I hope that's all it is also.

do you have a grounding rod? doubt thats it! but since its always in the same place, maybe either your glass is real refelctive there and he's showing off for the other guy, or he's getting a lil jolt there! my guess is what corrailline said though!
