    That's not something I'd recommend :)

    Agree also.

Get a small one. And when he grows too big, you will be ready for a larger tank anyway. ;)

am I the only one that notices something wrong with this?? you bought 20 chromis at one time?? or is that a typo, or did i misunderstand the post? i mean, even if you do only have 2, and the other fish that you posted before (minus the yellow tang of course), i would think you were on the brink of a full stock... if you are planning on upgrading to a bigger aquarium, and all of your fish are juvies right now, then MAYBE you're good to go..but my perspective of thinking is that a 55 is the permanent tank... if that's the case, i wouldn't buy anymore fish... also, i'm just going by what people on here have told me... maybe stuff has changed in the past year, but I think it was people who have actually replied "yes" to your question who told me "no"... ironic in a sense, i think... my original plans were 3 chromis, 2 percs, a lawmower blenny OR watchman goby, and a yellow tang... maybe one other fish that i can't remember, to make it a solid 5 diff species

ahh... gotcha... i'd like to see a pic of that many chromis in a school... the most i've seen together is like 3 in a biocube, and they didn't seem to be in a school at all... they just kind of did their own thing... i've just heard that the more you have, the more likely they are to school... in my first aquarium, which was freshwater, i had 7 corydoras catfish, and they seemed to school the majority of the time...

wish i could but my neighbours cousin is in NYC where all fish are expensive as S*** and you have to own your own ground level home or apartment if you want a BIG tank and he comes like once a year just to get reasonably priced fish....but maybe he'll come for another weekend or 2...
