Yellow tang issue

    I am inclined to think the yellow tang was sleeping or ill and the crabs got lucky.

    The reason I am not fond of hermits,

    1. They rip snails from their shells.
    2. They rip each other from their shells.
    3. They knock over corals.
    4. They eat all the Stomatella off spring. You get a lot more hitch-hiker make to reproductive age if you do not have hermits.


    Hermits are cute and comical and I like the tiny ones, but I have not found a need for them in a reef.
