It is a dry heat, yeah right !

When we overstock tanks and place fish from different geographical locations and different feeding requirements and territory issues, the expected outcome eventually will be an issue with at least one or more of the inhabitants.

While it may work for months, as the fish grow and mature into adult fish the likely hood of aggression issues and the onset of disease will become apparent.

A tank busy with colorful fish swimming, arrays of different types of fish while visually appealing is really not practical or going to work long term. Strive instead for a balanced tank where most of the inhabitants have room to grow, seek shelter, this creates a more rewarding system and long term success for the fish.

I was trying for a tank with peaceful fish so hopefully they could coexist. Yes trying to find a fish of every color with the most peaceful temperament. I thoroughly monitor to see any unusual behavior.

Even the most peacefull fish have limits.;) Not trying to beat you up or anything just be aware tanks that are heavily stocked can be magnets for stess and disease and once something goes wrong it can spread like wildfire. Hate to see you lose your fish or hard earned money.:(

Wouldn't you know, as soon as I got him out the red spots instantly disappeared. So I think I'm going to get ride of him so I hopefully don't have any future problems.
