I bought a yellow tang yesterday. It seems to be a bit slow to investigate it's new home.

Give it time , mine hid for the first few days and was scared everytime I walked in the room for a while now she comes over to the glass whenever I approach the tank looking for food.

It will come around after a while but you better watch because they are pretty to look at but become a very aggressive fish later on. Those and the purple tangs are very mean fish IMO.
