    What are ya'll opinions and experience with these gobys? Thinking about getting one today to clean up my sand.

    How big is your tank?How long has it been established.Do you have an open top?What's on the sand that needs to be cleaned up.

    It is a dry heat, yeah right !
    I have not kept these fish successfully long term in a smaller tank.

    As doylef4i pointed out, I believe they need a larger and established tank.

    Not a fish I would purchase again for the purpose of cleaning sand. They are good at sifting sand, but you may run into starving issues 3 months down the road.

    And big time jumpers.

    thank you for the replies. I went ahead and got him before i could reply to anyone. He is doing good so far. But it is a 55 gallon tank and has been going for about 7months now. Have a coral beauty, wrasse, clown fish, 2 firefish, 2feather dusters and 2shrooms, crabs, and some snails
