I had a pair of percula clowns in a 29 gallon with a yellow tail damsel. I added the clowns first and let them get established before I moved the YTD in with them. The damsel could get a little fiesty at feeding time, but other than that they got along fine.

Ouch. So, basically, damsels are a no go for anything? I have been having lots of trouble with this tank, so I wanted to plan on the stocking so I could look forward to that.
It's a hit and miss no matter what happens it seems haha.

    Thanks everyone :)

Damsels are awesome, I have a golden domino in with my clowns.
Clownfish are a type of damselfish. Like all fish in our hobby with the exception of a few do not like multiple of the same species in a small space. With that being said every fish is different, different personalities and traits and not all will repeat other misfortunes.
Damsels can be more agressive towards other fish, but then again so can tangs, wrasses and other species.

The domino Damsel which is one of my favorite, they school and swim very actively and love to host anemones, soft corals and more.
