Looks great so far! Any idea's on what you'd like in the tank floating around your head yet?

I use that same power strip. On mine I removed all the black coated steel screws and replaced them with stainless steel because those black screws always corrode......fast.

    great start!
i'm loving the detail. am in the process of putting my 90 together too so may be borrowing a few ideas if i can work them in. i like the spice rack, was thinking something similar but would like to find something entirely plastic. can also see the peg board being very useful.
    look forward to following

I hear ya buddy. One my check valve is huge and that is impossible. Second my tank is connected to my home automation system with water detection. If water is detected, its designed to power the main pump off and alert me via text and my alarm monitoring system calls me. Even if it does not power off by itself, I can remotely. ;)

Details are great. I did the same on my 90 thread. Plastic clamps, bulk reef supply sells them.

Hey, Luka, I thought you got strangled in that bar? ;D ... sorry, wasn't ignoring ya, my internet is really screwed up...I gotta hit pg refresh constantly or it loads old pages on these forums (yes I know that sounds like Bull, but its true...its a intermittent signal so my "token" keeps getting lost...really wierd)

    ....anyway, its glass

...yeah, I didn't want to make the same mistake I made with previous reef tanks and get a incompatible hodge podge of critters that either eat each other or out grow the tank (then you get squat on tradein)

Bangai cardninals...but I'm vasilating on those because I won't be able to use a sock (and recover the inevitable babies that show up in the sump)

Firefish: actually just added those but they disapeared within hours; overflow? , jumped? hiding?

scooter blennie (already purchased, but died before I could unbag him)

    some type of fairy wrasse

...but the tank will have 6-10 small fish max
...I also want shrimp but all I've ever kept was coral banded shrimp, not sure if "cleaner shrimp" are sustainable long term or not

....I won't be doing the sea cucumbers thing again...last time I bought one "tiger cucumber" and on tear down I somehow found two at about 1ft long...it scared the doodie outta me ...besides I'm not doing a DSB

I'm viewing as many build threads as possible....and BTW, I kept seeing "BRS" , now I know who they are :) ,,,thanks for the lead

I'm not doing anything original here...in fact I've already shamelessly jacked a few ideas ...he he
...The spice rack is "coated" but that enviorment under the cabinet ain't friendly to metal ....heck it ain't friendly to anything so I sprayed an additional clear coat over the pegboard
