...So anyway, I proceeded to mount that light ASAP...

...and I hate it when a light isn't level and centered above a tank so I broke out the laser level

...one thing you gotta consider when making a purchase decision (like an ATI vs TEK) is the added crap you gotta buy with it...when considering a 4x54 ATI vs. the $100 cheaper 6x54 TEK; I had to add in the acrylic shield, hanging hardware and cooling fan which is standard on the ATI....

...moreover, the 4x54W ATI has the same out put as a 6x54 TEK...only disadvantage is the light are and the color combo of a 6 bulb fixture....
..so when I considered it would cost an additional $60 to add the hardware for the TEK, choosing the Sunpoiwer was a no-brainer.....

...using the laser level, here I located the "Spot" on the ceiling

...all I needed was drywall anchors [IMG]

the ATI fixture comes with some pretty contemporay "minimalist" looking hanging hardware

    ...and voila

the addtional heat from the lamp meant addtional cooling so I ordered two of these thinbking I was going to get a TEK (using one to blow on the fixture the other on the water)

...AZOO is some of the finest Chinese engineering has to offer, so naturally it doesn't fit...so I mounted it on the wall

...all that meant additional evap and thus more top off water...
..so a bigger jug ...which meant it has to be outside the cabinet (I'll hide it later)

Like I said earlier, I got a BRS dual Reactor to work in Biopellets, GFO and Carbon...I'm gonna use both pellets and GFO per the excellent thread here....

that meant re-working the sump "Again" sigh

pardon the numerous post but Photobucket with all its adds and crap is acting slow even over a blazing 30MPS "Wideband" (amazing the idiots can even slow that down)

I'm sorta anal rententive when it comes to water, electricity and wire management

I also hate salt spray, salt creep and clutter

here is the tank so far...hardly any coraline growth, but that should pick up with the T5's

Harbor Frieght; I don't usually buy cheap tool except for those instances when you won't use them often and name brands are pricey...

I wouldn't buy a Harbor Frieght drill but laser level...hmmm :cheesy:

my only regret is now I wish I had got the 6x54, I can grow sps up on the rocks but I forgot about clams...maybe derasa's

thanks....I figure I gotta drop another $500 on some odds and ends and another $300 on fish and God knows how much on sps, LPS & zoos
