Yet another Newbie

    Hi, I'm yet another newbie to salt water. I had a fairly long history with freshwater, but hadn't had a tank in several years. So, I walked into a Salt water shop and said, "that's it, I'm doing saltwater" and have been at it for a whopping 4 months now. We have a 20g reef tank with lots of coral already. So far so good with the coral. Lost most of our fish early on due to a rookie non- QT error that won't be repeated. Our poor little Bicolor Blenny. He was so cute.... Anyway, I'm a small animal veterinarian (dogs, cats and exotics), so being a bit of a medical geek, I am finding the plethora of opinions annoying. I am really trying to find factual, not just opinion based info as much as possible. Not totally sure if it exists for salt water at this point. My LFS drives me crazy in this way. Anyway, I'm rambling.

    Welcome to 3reef. Well......there are plenty of opinions on saltwater here too, but you will be able to take all of the input and form your own in the end. At least, that is what I have done. I have a feeling you will like it here. And it is good to have another medical professional in the mix. We have plenty of electicians here, so don't do what I did and start arguing voltage, ohms and watts. They will rip you apart (in a nice way of course).
