That's the goal at least. I have yet to put baffles in the sump which sucks and could be a hold-back. The rock I got is incredible - seriously. One piece is like 20 pounds, huge, and shaped perfect for a middle piece - I think dual arches are in order.

His RODI connection somehow built up pressure and popped off the feed pipe. As a result the pipe sprayed water out at full blast for 5-6 hours flooding his (entire) apartment with 3-4 inches of water and also flooding his neighbors apartment. I really feel bad for the guy.

Oh man, that is terrible!! Now you're going to make me worry about my unit. That is really horrible.

That huge piece sounds awesome and dual arches would look great! I can't wait to see your aquascape. I know it will be amazing!

It's perfect. I really am digging the selection of rock I have. I have around 150 pounds now to choose from. Washing my sand tomorrow and working out an electrical panel for ballasts / controller / etc. tomorrow night while I enjoy the rest of a bottle of Jameson ;D

Dude, this was like a reefer's P.S.A. I'm buying a wet dry vac, and checking connections on my RODI weekly. I fell asleep the other night with mine on and mopped up around 30 gallons in my laundry room / bathroom due to it overflowing my reservoir. I do NOT want my apartment flooded.

Oh yea, I'm also buying 2 waterbugs. One for my Apex and I'm also getting one for my laundry room, to connect to an X10 system which I will hook up to the Apex. I'll have audible alarms triggered on the Apex and in case I'm gone it will also e-mail and text me. I will wake up or be e-mailed / texted if there is a leak or water on the floor.

Small update - sump is built and silicon cured now. All plumbing is complete, drains, returns glued in place.

Picked up a couple Tunze Turbelle 6025 power heads to help agitate the surface of the water. The MP40's will be set low / middle of the tank, the returns will blow into each corner to keep them clean. Needed something to keep the surface moving so I will attach the two Tunzes at the very top back of the overflow boxes so they keep everything moving. Should barely if at all be able to see them.

Canopy is almost done. Need to hang one more pendant and get some wire management going on. Fired up one of the halides over the tank tonight - holy crap, one of these reflectors over the tank lights up the living room with no other lights. I can just imagine what 3 are going to look like. The Yate Loon fans are very quiet too - the 2 120mm fans and 2 Azoo's are very quiet - Azoos do put out more noise than the Yate Loons though.

Ocea needs to re-think their tank building skills. The canopy is getting modded a bit this weekend, it cuts off about 1" of good viewable tank - my buddy is ripping some wood to affix on the canopy to raise it to fix that problem. The trim around the bottom is also too tall. Getting some padding to put under the tank, which will help level it and also raise the tank a bit so I will regain about 1.5" of viewable area.

Time to start making water tomorrow!

Been working all day, finally was able to get the 75 moved out, set back up, and the 110 put in it's space. Got the sump cleaned up, final wiring done to the lights, .5" pad put under the tank, canopy put on, etc. There's some cleanup left to do and I have 70 gallons of water waiting to go and another 30 is "brewing" over night. Hope to have water in tomorrow - just didn't have time this weekend to finish.
