Nothing to really report. Tank seems pretty much blah. I need to start feeding more but the skimmer seems to pull out whatever I put in. A good thing, really. After leaving it off for a couple hours after cleaning and dosing amino acids it pulled out the amino acids I dosed in within 30-40 minutes. Same with the Brightwells Phytochrom. Nasty black gooey chunks coming out daily. I'm going to change programming to have the skimmer off around 6-8 hours a day for feeding to see if that helps.

Corals are fading in color, probably due to lack of food and light shock. They're still living and some are growing, though.

I've been MIA for a while, will likely not check in much, either. Work is keeping me on the run, plus I've gotten back into R/C planes which will also be keeping me busy in the spare time I have. Tank is taking a back burner for now, I may or may not sell off the majority in a couple months. We'll see what happens. Hopefully the tank pulls together and starts to look good. However, all good things eventually come to an end. My "stress reliever" hobby seems to now cause more than it takes away. I should have known this when I set up the new tank.

Bummed to hear it Zach. I have thought the same... but I really want to see where this ends up. I have all my coral and equipment and my tank is mature. We'll see. Give it some time. I would have kept the pellets just to keep things in line. Give your tank some time.

You can only throw so much money and time at something until you get sick of it not doing what you expect. Then you watch people do nothing to their tanks and it looks great. If I'm not here every day to monitor the pellets I would prefer not to run them. Maybe I will pick up another bag in a month or two. Not sure. Would rather see a friend get some use out of them in the meantime :)

Ya... I get it. I think your travel has put it to the test. That would make things hard. I'm a shift worker, it's hard enough to keep thing stable for me, but I am here.

Geeze, everyone's trying to get your stuff before you've even said you're done!! lol

I really hope you don't break it all down. Don't be hasty with the decision! You've put so much time and effort into the tank.
