    Tell me about your experiences-

taking my time by researching, but eventually you have to dive in.

.25ml is a reasonable dose and I'm watching params

    What do you recommend?

slow baby steps and its not needed forever. but it is a good carbon source, so is sugar, and pappone. dosing vodka has been known to wipe out tanks, just take your time and learn to read your tank prior to anything happening.

Hey Zach, did you make it to the frag swap? We were there for about an hour (until I spent all my cash :p). I managed to get some nice new pieces!

I got bored at the frag swap after about 30 minutes...once I saw the corals I wanted that was it. Game over. Mommy go buy them :D I mean really...how am I supposed to stay entertained when I didn't see one little fish in the whole gym??? :p

Unfortunately I did not make it to the swap. Got busy this weekend with other things. Also, I picked up some frags Friday from a local who was taking frags to the swap, just bought them here without the drive.

I'm not adding any additional live stock or coral after this weekend for some time. I may end up getting a much larger skimmer (Reeflo 200 / orca pump / pro cup) and pulling the tank out and replacing my existing sump with a 75g sump as well.

Hah! frag swap, not fish swap ;D

Well, that was lucky for you! I'm glad we got there pretty early - I bet the good stuff was gone within the first hour. I was badgering Alex from Fifth Day - I want a frag of the acro with the blue tips in the store's display tank!

    Jwin - "Buy it!"

Yup, that's pretty much what he said the whole time....:p

Local dude here has some awesome alabama blue torts for $10-15 a frag. Along with many other beautiful SPS pieces... I picked up some red zoas from him as well.

Treats for the corals tonight. Fed them some raw shrimp. Know what a PITA it is to cut tiny chunks and feed to each head of candy cane, frogspawn, etc? My bubble is sitting there gloating with a nice chunk - that mouth got big! Ate the whole piece though.

    NO3 is at 10 today.
