That is a lot of wet skimmate, but you will get it right. If it continues a bit don't forget to keep your SG right. You are going to love it when it's dialed in.

What is almost a shame is screwing with it for a couple of weeks and seeing what works best. After that is done....there is simply no reason to touch it. Almost seems anticlimactic. A cool toy you can't play with anymore.;D

I'm sure you will be cool with not "playing with it" every day.;)

It's cool to play with. However, it will be absolutely awesome not having to touch it ;D

cant afford toilet paper? have to use your hand for number 2? musta spent it all on that skimmer. thats true love you have for your tank. please wash your hands a few times. ;)

Thats some gritty, chunky skimmate :)

isnt it amazing what a new skimmer will pull out compared to your old skimmer?

Was that $450 with the pump? I may just have to order one of these bad boys for a Christmas present for myself! PM me a link to your review of it once you get it up.

Hah, just PayPal and it just comes up as a PayPal withdrawal and you may be able to play it off as more acceptable expenses, such as "Oh honey, that wasn't just for my gift, it was for yours and my cousin's" lol. Unless she would insist on clicking "Buy" then you're better off making sure you can return and get what you really want. Orrrrr giving your parents $450 so that they can give it to you to spend as you choose. BRILLIANT!
