Thanks Todd! You will have to come over and check it out sometime!!

Here is a picture of the reef octo put together. I know most of you have seen a hundred skimmers that look like this, but this one is mine and is very special to me. hahaha

I'm just excited about this build! It's been a long time a comin!

ok, back with a small update after a long day! Well, it was only long cause we got off topic a few times and had to make a gyro run... haha! Well, it was a very productive day! Plumbing is done and painted with the krylon fusion I have been reading about. Majority of it will be out of water anyway. Salt is mixed and been HEATED to the proper temperature in the brute bins right from the newly installed RO/DI unit :).

The first picture is my favorite, like looking thru the portal to the sea. hahaha, it's corny, but makes me lol.

Today, I'm going to figure out what to raise my skimmer with. The directions say 6"-10" hmmm ok. Then take some water and sand out of the DT and put some sand back in the fuge. I have too much sand in my DT as I would like. Then the clowner would get a starfish up his butt and decide to make a sandstorm for no good reason. So, I'm going to take some out and lessen the deep sand I end up getting off to the left of the tank.

I'll update more either later today or tomorrow hopefully!

OFK, I put a picture of Norgs putting together some plumbing, now you can decide for yourself. ;D

Thanks Norgs for all the help and good tunes!! :thumbs_up
    Thanks for looking

Im equally as excited about your sump as you are. Haha. Im glad everything came together so clean. You will love that skimmer and the benefits of a large sump and fuge man. Kudos to you for doing it right. Not many reefers have the patience.
