I found a feather duster in my tank the other day. I snapped a few pics, I figured I'd share. The pictures from my phone don't show how yellow and purple the duster really is. I was shocked to see this guy out and maybe almost the size of a quarter.

Why have I not seen this duster before?? haha

Ok, I have a nice update! I received my lights yesterday after work. I had a LFS build me a custom LED fixture. The lights were done, but not the controller, so I opted to take the lights home with a spare power supply. I couldn't wait ;D Right now, I just have on/off, soon will be the added benefit of a controller to control each of the 5 channels of light.

I'm happy! No more blue pictures! I took one quick picture of some zoas right after I turned the light on. I was rocking just a white/blue LED that the shop lent me while he worked on the main fixture. Great to deal with nice people in this business.

Thanks! I really like my sump setup. However, my growth has been uh... limited... I recently have started paying attention to CA/ALK/Mag in hopes to align parameters. So I'm positive something will take off soon!

No problem man. I had fun shooting your tank. However, I cant take credit for all these shots. My girlfriend took the pictures of the wrasse, watermelon zoas and purple psuedochromis. I should bring my tripod next time and really focus on what Im doing instead of drinking beer. lol

It's funny, that was one of the things we forgot... :loco:

I will update tonight with a crappy cell phone picture though!

I also notice some more colors in the corals. The rainbow monti, that looks brownish/orange with blue skeleton. I turned him around and noticed two new yellow polyps coming out of the peak. sweet!
