    Thank you OFK!!

Here is when I first got the war coral. I got him and when I glued him down, he broke (I'm not the most fragile person). I'm super excited to see him come back so strong though.

wow, that really puts it into perspective! I know you were concerned about coral growth for a while. Obviously, not a concern now :) I know I've asked you this before but over time, what do you think has made the biggest difference in turning your growth around?

I would have to say consistency. Getting an ro/di unit instead of getting water from various places so I can make water at home. Getting my ato setup properly so I don't have salinity swings. The sump and the larger skimmer had to help as with the increased flow. And probably not messing with the rock/coral placement every day. I'm sure there are other reasons, but I think these are some of the ones that did help.

Maybe you could do two islands like me, they look great in taller tanks and you could have Acros at the top of them.

    Matt,

Look'n fantastic! I really like the Clam.

Nice work my friend, your system has come a long way, and looks to be on the right track.

See you and Maddy tomorrow night.

Thanks FW and Todd! I am pleased how my system is going and it seems to have settled down. I am dealing with some minor algae, but I strive to try and always learn!

See you tomorrow Todd! I'm going to bring an extra hammer frag that I'm going to just leave up for whomever wants it. My way to contribute.

I went through all 8 pages and I am impressed. I've been gathering equipment to convert my FW tank over to a SW tank. I just finished my 20G sump which is the same setup as yours and received my RODI unit. This thread boosted my confidence on my conversion. Good job and congrats on your success.
